This seminar will provide the participant with an overview of the physiological needs of a newborn, supportive research, the benefits and contraindications to newborn massage, as well as experiential exercises and hands on work. There will be a live demonstration of how to teach parents how to massage their baby. You will also learn how to develop a plan to implement a Baby’s First Massage program and be given the opportunity to increase your learning and experience with an additional certification process.

20” doll, baby blanket, comfortable clothes for work on the floor
There is a $35.00 materials fee for this class due on conference day
We will be looking for a family to participate in the live demo.

Bruce is an internationally recognized educator with over 25 years of experience in the fitness and bodywork industry. He is an LMT in New York and Florida. He is also a member of the AMTA, NCBTMB, and the FSMTA. Bruce developed his second, and very popular, educational workshop – Active Isolated Stretching in 2007.
Cary Bayer
A life coach in Florida and New York and author of numerous publications, Cary has developed five CEU classes based on marketing, skill building, and communication. He has coached more than 100 massage therapists and is a faculty member of
Massage Business University.
Nathalie Cecilia
Nathalie is an LMT and continuing education provider. She was born in Nimes, South France and has a master’s degree in Philosophy and Languages. She owns and operates a Thai Studio and Massage Therapy office in Sarasota, FL
Pat Mayrhofer
Pat has been a CMT, cosmetologist, and instructor since 1995. She has incorporated healing stones into multi-disciplinary approaches to client treatment. She is involved in teaching, community outreach and her own practice. She has developed many videos and has created a full line of products that promote safe hot stone massage.
Ethel Nelson
A certified presenter of the Introduction to CranioSacral Therapy, Ethel is a physical therapist at Chambersburg hospital as well as CEO of Alternative Health Solutions. She has studied CST for greater than 20 years and has participated in advance studies at the Upledger Institute in Florida.
Teresa KirkPatrick Ramsey
Teresa is the author and developer of Baby’s First Massage®, and is a Registered Nurse, a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Certified Infant Massage Instructor. She has experience as a staff nurse in all clinical areas of obstetrics and has been involved throughout her career in teaching, developing and expanding educational services.
Nancy Porambo
A Board Certified LMT of many years, Nancy has her own practice in Pennsylvania using many varieties of modalities.
Her Ethics class is known to be interesting and interactive.
